Music CD release

My favorite new music CD from 2008 is Waves From The Desert by Jack Martin & Friends. A lyric and juicy journey on drums and handmade instruments that rocks, soothes and satisfies.. It's another successful cottage industry product from Jack and Sally Martin, who've lived 35 years in the exotic Joshua Tree forest of the Arizona Mojave Desert outside the tiny community of Dolan Springs. (This is on the road to the western outlook of the Grand Canyon) Sally and Jack make fabulous original handcrafted, hand painted, sheepskin shearling muk luks, boots and slippers that are favorites of celebrities and others around the world. Their company, BlackDogRise.com can be found online where they will take custom orders for their boots. The CD can also be ordered there, or through Amazon.com as either CD or MP3 download(s). Sally and Jack are an inspiring example of gifted artists in several media who have successfully maintained an off-grid sort of lifestyle of their preference for a long time and into their maturity in a beautiful and out-of-the-way place.
